We Love The Zoo

Photos from our last two trips to the Detroit Zoo. One visit was last night (July 15th) and the other visit was last week with Ashley and Irene. The zoo has a summer concert series with bands every Wednesday night, but we like it because the entire zoo is open til 8pm. This way, we get to go as a family (that means Brian gets to go) AND it's not on a weekend when it's crazy busy and a bonus is that the animals tend to be more active in the evening (feeding time). We go to the zoo about once a week in the summer/spring/fall. Less in the winter, but we still try to go as often as the weather permits.
